Setting Up Test Environment with 360Dialog

Test your bot flow on WhatsApp before going live using 360Dialog Sandbox

With 360Dialog Sandbox, you have the ability to test the chatbot on WhatsApp before going live and present it to the other stakeholders.

You can follow the following steps to set up the 'Sandbox' environment on WhatsApp using 360Dialog;

  • Send a WhatsApp message 'Start' to +49 30 609 859 535

This is the 360Dialog sandbox number which you will be using it for testing your chatbot on WhatsApp

  • Copy the API key received from 360Dialog on sending the WhatsApp message 'Start'

  • Now go to 'app.supporthunt.io -> Channel Configuration -> WhatsApp -> + Configuration' to configure the Sandbox API

  • Enter the 'Phone Number'

Here you will need to enter 360Dialog Sandbox Number, which is +49 30 609 859 535

  • Select '360Dialog' as the 'WhatsApp Business API Provider'

  • Select 'Sandbox' as the 'Environment'

  • Enter the 'API Key' received on WhatsApp reply

  • Click on 'Save' to save the changes

  • Now, you need to connect this test account to your WhatsApp chatbot. To do this, go to 'Bot Builder' & select the bot you would like to test

  • Click on 'Trigger' action block and choose the 'Sandbox' number that you just added & hit on 'Deploy'

Once the chatbot is deployed, you can now begin testing your chatbot on WhatsApp by sending a message to the 360Dialog Sandbox number Please note that the name of the account on WhatsApp would remain as '360Dialog' as it is their test account
